Gom Player Plus provides a more advanced Gom Player Plus control panel to make it easier to set the functions you want to set during video playback.
The GOM Player Plus control window is divided into five tabs (Playback, Video, Subtitles, Audio, Capture).
In this tab, you can make settings related to video playback.
- Hide skin during playback
- Play from the latest point
- Action on playback completion
- Always on top
You can set the position priority of the Gom Player Plus (Disable, On top while playing, Always on top).
Time Jump Settings
- ← / → Arrow Key
Select the movement interval (in seconds) at which the file can be searched when the [<], [>] buttons or the hot key (← / →) on the Playback tab in the control panel is pressed. The default value is 10 seconds.
- Ctrl + ← / → Arrow Key
Select the interval (in seconds) that the file can be searched when you press the [<<], [>>] buttons or shortcut keys (Ctrl + ← / →) on the Playback tab in the control panel. The default value is 60 seconds.
- Shift + ← / → Arrow Key
Select the interval (in seconds) that you can navigate to the file when you press the shortcut key (Shift + ← / →). The default value is 300 seconds.
In this tab, you can make settings related to the video screen.
- Aspect ratio
Default aspect ratio : Outputs the image according to the ratio of the original image. (recommend)
4: 3 (TV) : Outputs images in 4: 3 aspect ratio.
16: 9 (HDTV): Outputs images in 16: 9 aspect ratio.
1.85: 1 (SCREEN) : Outputs images in 1.85: 1 aspect ratio.
2.35: 1 (SCREEN) : Outputs images in 2.35: 1 aspect ratio.
Use-defined Ratio : Outputs images according to the aspect ratio.
- Keep screen ratio when adjusting player size
Output images according to player size regardless of aspect ratio.
- Video control
Brightness : You can use this slider to adjust the brightness of the current viewing screen. You can also fine-tune through the -, + buttons and click the RESET button to revert to the default brightness setting.
Contrast : You can use this slider to adjust the contrast of the current viewing screen. You can also fine-tune through the -, + buttons and click the RESET button to revert to the default contrast setting.
Satuation : You can use this slider to adjust the satuation of the current viewing screen. You can also fine-tune through the -, + buttons and click the RESET button to revert to the default satuation setting.
Hue : You can use this slider to adjust the hue of the current viewing screen. You can also fine-tune through the -, + buttons and click the RESET button to revert to the default hue setting.
This is a setting that allows you to reverse (Flip, Mirror) the image.
This setting allows you to rotate the image (90º, 180º, 270º).
- Hardware Acceleration
This setting enables smooth playback of video by using hardware such as graphic cards.
Improves image quality by eliminating video blocking.
Converts interlaced videos (ex: analog TV) into deinterlaced formats for improved image quality.
This tab allows you to make settings related to subtitles applied to images.
- Show subtitles
Show / hide subtitles is available.
- Text encoding
If non-alphabetic subtitle files are displayed in broken letters, set the text encoding to the subtitle's language to display subtitles normally.
- Font size
This setting allows you to adjust the size of subtitles.
If you choose auto size control, you can watch video with optimized subtitle size provided by Gom Player Plus, and you can also set the thickness.
- Subtitle color
This setting allows you to change the subtitle color.
This setting allows you to change the border color.
You have the option of adjusting the border thickness.
This setting allows you to change the shadow color.
We have added an option to adjust the shadow depth.
- Display a message asking to save changes to subtitle sync settings.
Provides a notification window that allows you to save the changed subtitle sync when you stop the image after adjusting the subtitle sync.
- Use the Search for subtitles function when you play a video that does not have any subtitles.
- Find subtitles when playing video files without subtitles
If the subtitle corresponding to the video is registered in the GOM subtitle archive, it is a feature that recommends subtitles.
In this tab, you can make settings related to video sound.
- Output device
This is a setting that allows you to change the output device.
- Output channel :
This setting allows you to change the output channel (system default settings, 2.0 Stereo).
(The following voice filter is applied only when the output channel is set to 2.0 Stereo and the sound type of the videoi to be played is 2.0 Stereo.)
If you change the equalizer setting to ""Enable"", you can listen to the image using the Equalizer preset provided by Gom Player Plus.
If you change the setting to use the normalizer setting, you can enjoy the image with the sound level small and large level small.

(These effects are designed for systems with a stereo configuration.)

You can use the reverb effect when viewing videos.
