Reset Button

The Reset Button allows you to reset your GOM Media Player settings back to default.

If you encounter an issue when using GOM Player, resetting GOM Media Player back to its default settings by using the [Reset] button may be a simple fix! It's a good idea to try this before taking more drastic action such as reinstalling the software.

Backup Preferences Button

The Backup Preferences Button allows you to recover the previous setting.

When pressing the “Backup Preferences” bottom in the preferences window, all current preferences settings will be saved to the Registration Entry “.reg” file. You can apply the settings to the registry by double-clicking the “.reg” file. *Note that the settings which will be disabled after quitting GOM Player are not able to backup.
