GOM Player Crashes whenever I play any file / launch the software

If GOM Media Player is crashing as soon as you launch it and/or whenever you are trying to play any file, there are

a number of possible causes.

 

First, please do a clean install of the software by following the steps below:

 

1. Completely uninstall GOM Media Player from your system.

2. Restart your computer. This is important in making sure all uninstalled files are removed completely.

3. Download the latest version of GOM Media Player from the link below:

    https://app.gomlab.com/site/player/GOMPLAYERENSETUP.EXE

4. Re-install the software

 

If the crash issue continues, please contact the GOM Media Player Support Center for additional assistance.

 

If a Windows error message pops up when the crash occurs, please send a screen capture of the error window.

 

*Often there will be a link on the error window that pops up that will enable you to see more details about the crash.

If you are able to see more details about the crash via this method, please send us those additional details!

That may enable us to solve the problem very quickly.
