How to maintain a static playback window size

Some users prefer that the GOM playback window always open to the last used size.


There are many ways to manipulate GOM's default screen size, but an easy way to ensure that GOM will always open

to the last used screen size (and only change size when the user manually changes it) is to disable the "Default screen

size:" feature altogether.


To do that, follow the steps below:

1. Launch GOM Media Player

2. Open the Preferences window by pressing F5

3. Select "Playback" from the list on the left

4. Go to the "Playback" tab

5. Uncheck the box next to "Default playback window size:"

Now the playback window will never change size automatically, and will always open to / play a video in a window

that is the same size as the last time the player was used.
