>> Playlist Window
Files that have been queued for playback are displayed on the Playlist Window. You can open the playlist window by clicking the Playlist Button on the GOM Media Player Main Window, or by pressing the [F8] key on your keyboard. You can add files to the playlist by using the options under the “ADD” button (explained below) or by dragging and dropping files directly onto the Playlist Window.
- - Repeat Toggle Button
- This button turns the Repeat function on and off. When Repeat is on, the Playlist will be played in its entirety over and over again in a loop.
-
- - Shuffle Toggle Button
- This button turns the Shuffle function on and off. When the Shuffle function is on, files on the playlist will be played in a random order. Shuffe is active when moving in both directions, meaning if you skip to the next file, skipping back to the previous file will also load a random file, not the same file you were previously watching / listening to.
-
- - ADD Button
- Click this button to add files to the playlist. You can add individual files (File), add all files in a certain folder (Directory), or add a URL.
-
- - DEL Button
- Click this button to remove files from the playlist. You can choose to remove all the selected files (Selected files), all the files that are not selected (Deselected files), or every file that is currently on the playlist (All)
-
- - SEL Button
- This button provides shortcuts to selecting multiple files on the playlist. “Select All” will select every file on the playlist, and “Inverse Selection” will select every file on the playlist that isn’t currently selected (and consequentially deselect the files that are currently selected).
-
- - SORT Button
- The SORT button will allow you to arrange your playlist alphabetically A- Z (Sort) or backwards alphabetically Z-A (Sort Backward). Files whose names begin with numbers will be sorted 0 – 9 and will appear before A-Z files (the reverse is true when using Sort Backward). If you turn on the “Sort by folder name…” option, files will first be sorted based on the name of the folder they’re stored in, and then sorted alphabetically within those groups.
-
- - LIST Button
- Click the LIST Button to save and load playlist files (playlists are saved in .asx format). If you turn on the “Auto Save Playlist” option, your most recent playlist will be auto-loaded each time you launch GOM Media Player.
