File Types
You can select what types of files to associate with GOM Media Player from this tab. Any files types that are checked on this list will display the GOM icon, and will open with GOM Media Player when double-clicked.
- - [Select All] Button
- Checks every box on the list and associates GOM Media Player with all supported file types.

- - [Select None] Button
- Unchecks every box on the list and does not associate GOM Media Player with any file types.

The settings on this tab relate to using GOM Media Player open URLs and stream media.
Stream Cache Buffer
- - Type
- Select between a Large file cache or a Memory cache. Using Large file cache will create a temporary file on a designated drive that stores stream information. Selecting Memory cache will store the stream information in virtual memory.

- Select the amount of space to allocate for the cache

- - Cache Drive
- When using the Large file cache type, select which drive the cache is stored on.

Proxy Server Settings
- - Type
- Select either a SOCKS version 4 or a SOCKS version 5 proxy server

- Input your proxy server address.

- - Port
- Input your proxy server port number.

- - User ID
- Input your proxy server user ID.

- Input your proxy server user password./dd>

Log
Logs record all the video playback information in a .txt for later reference, and are very useful for troubleshooting errors.
- - Create log file
- Check this box to create log files automatically

- - Delete all logs immediately when you run GOM Player
- Check this box to delete all the log files in your log directory each time you launch GOM Media Player

- - [Open log directory] button
- Opens the folder that contains all of your log files.

- - [Delete all log files] button
- Click this button to delete all the log files in your log directory (except for the log file that is currently being created, if there is one).
